Can I use ChatGPT with my ThinkMarkets account?

Chelsea is built on the open MCP standard, so any AI assistant that supports remote MCP servers will be connectable to your account. ChatGPT supports MCP via Developer Mode on paid plans. Claude is the launch assistant and the one we recommend for the simplest setup experience.

Can I use Grok with my ThinkMarkets account?

Yes. xAI launched Grok Connectors with custom MCP support in May 2026, available across free and paid Grok plans. To connect Chelsea, go to grok.com/connectors, add a new custom connector, and enter your ThinkTrader MCP server URL. Setup is similar to Claude.

Do I need a paid plan to use Chelsea?

Not necessarily. For Claude, the free plan supports one custom remote MCP connector — which covers Chelsea. The Pro plan at $20/month removes the one-connector limit. For ChatGPT, MCP requires at minimum a Plus plan ($20/month), with full write/execute capability on Business plans. For Grok, Connectors are available on the free plan, subject to standard free-tier rate limits.

Can I switch AI assistants later without losing my Chelsea connection?

Yes. Chelsea is tied to your ThinkTrader account, not to any specific AI assistant. You can connect or disconnect assistants at any time from your account settings. Switching assistant does not affect your account, positions, or permissions.

Will more AI assistants be supported over time?

Yes. MCP adoption is growing rapidly across the industry. As more assistants add consumer-facing MCP support, Chelsea will be compatible with them. This article is updated as the landscape changes.

Is it safe to connect an AI assistant to my trading account?
